Our story

How Poli PR came to be

Poli PR founder, Saraya Beric, ran her first political campaign in 2013, through her marketing agency, The Social Tone. Someone who had noticed her marketing work recommended her to Pauline Hanson, who hired her to create and manage her social media strategy. Three years later, Saraya managed the campaign that returned Pauline to parliament as a Senator for Queensland, along with three more One Nation senators. She was also asked to become One Nation's National and Queensland Secretary, giving her further political experience.

That work revealed a clear gap in the market: campaigns needed an agency with genuine political insight, specialist skills and a community focus. In 2017, Saraya founded Poli PR to fill it.

Since then, Poli PR has worked with candidates, parties and organisations at every level, from grassroots community projects to national advocacy campaigns. We helped Gerard Rennick win his Senate seat in 2019, ran six winning council campaigns in Queensland and New South Wales, backed the community campaign that saw the WAR Act repealed and Warnervale Airport freed to grow, and built People First Party's brand and campaign for the 2025 federal election.

We know candidates are short on time and money, and we work to solve both, so your campaign runs smoothly from day one to polling day.

Thanks to Saraya Beric. You took on a task unbeknown to you, from performing as a professional violinist to running a political office and campaigns. You have been invaluable.

About Saraya Beric

More than a decade of federal, state and local campaigns, and one of Australia's greatest political comebacks to show for it.

Saraya Beric is a political marketing specialist and campaign strategist. Since 2013 she has delivered marketing strategy and branding for candidates, parties and causes, first through her marketing agency, The Social Tone, and since 2017 through Poli PR. She also advises organisations and community projects behind the scenes.

Her path into politics was anything but typical. Saraya began her career as a professional violinist, performing around the world and with well-known bands, and ran her own entertainment agency. Years on stage and behind the scenes of live events taught her how to hold an audience, promote a brand and deliver under pressure. She brings those same instincts to every campaign.

In 2013, with no political experience, Saraya was recommended to Pauline Hanson by someone who had noticed her marketing work. Pauline hired her to create and manage the social media strategy for her NSW Senate campaign. In 2015 Saraya became Pauline's campaign manager for the Queensland seat of Lockyer, where Pauline came within just 114 votes of winning. A year later, Saraya managed the 2016 federal campaign that returned Pauline Hanson to parliament as a Senator for Queensland.

Through to the end of 2016, she served as One Nation's Marketing Manager, National Secretary and Queensland Secretary at the same time. In those roles she steered the campaign that saw four One Nation senators elected and the party's national resurgence.

That success opened more doors. People who had watched her rebuild One Nation recommended her to Senator Gerard Rennick. She became his Communications Manager, running his social media through his first Senate campaign with the LNP, then moved into a full-time role in his Senate electorate office during Covid. She has since worked alongside several centre-right federal senators, and played a key role in establishing and branding People First Party for the 2025 federal election. She has also served as a Regional Secretary for LNP Women in Queensland, giving her insight into major-party operations and grassroots organisation.

Her campaigns are known for creative concepts, cut-through messaging and strong narrative framing, and many have gained national attention. Her work has also helped elect local councillors and driven community campaigns across Australia.

Today Saraya works with political clients through Poli PR while also serving as Head of Operations & Marketing at Turning Point Australia.

“At Poli PR, we help bold voices rise above the noise.”
