Senator Gerard Rennick

From his first Senate campaign in 2019 to running his communications full-time through Covid, then launching a new party in 2025.

About the work

Poli PR Founder, Saraya Beric, was recommended to Gerard Rennick by people within the Liberal National Party who had watched her build One Nation's resurgence three years earlier.

As his Communications Manager, she managed his social media through his first Senate campaign in 2019, when he was elected to the Senate for Queensland on the LNP ticket. She then moved into a part-time role building his social media presence, managing his website and growing his email database.

When Covid hit, his office was inundated with people from across the country asking for help, and the role became full-time. Saraya rebuilt his website from the ground up to make it one of the most informative politician websites in the country, and ran issues campaigns backed by advertising, billboards, and graphic and video content, each one designed to bring new supporters into his database. Over those years she helped grow the email database to several times the size of the LNP's membership and built his personal brand, giving him a direct line to his own supporters.

After Gerard left the LNP, Saraya continued his Senate communications work, and on the side, helped create his new party, Gerard Rennick People First, in 2025.

From the people who know us best

Thanks to Saraya Beric. You took on a task unbeknown to you, from performing as a professional violinist to running a political office and campaigns. You have been invaluable.
